AMAZING CHRISTMAS TREES AROUND THE WORLD

It's that time of the year again when decorative pine trees are put up to symbolise the worldwide celebration of Christmas.

The Christmas tree tradition is credited to Germany where it all started. History states that the 16th Century German preacher, Martin Luther was the first person to bring a Christmas Tree into a house after he was walking through the forest sometime before Christmas and saw the stars shining through the tree branches. He told his children that it reminded him of Jesus, and there and then, he created what would remind him of the symbol he saw, and got the tree erected at Christmas.

Today it has become one of the major tradition of Christmas worldwide. These days, they are not ordinary anymore, they come well decorated with tinsels, baubles and various creativity.

Some are whopping expensive too. Like the 2010 jewel encrusted Christmas tree put on show at an Abu Dhabi hotel which was worth over $11M (£7M). Scores of precious stones and items of exquisite jewelry were draped on the tree branches along with baubles and lights. All these made it World's most expensive tree.

KOURTNEY KARDASHIAN BARES IT ALL

We surely haven't seen the last of the Kardashians' nude fiesta. Kourtney posted her pregnancy nude photo on her Instagram today and says "To me, nudity is not something to be ashamed of. I'm at my best when I'm pregnant."
When asked by dujour.com how she hopes people will react to the pictures, she answered "I don’t know. It’s what a woman’s body is made to do, so I hope it’s maybe seen as something that’s artistic. This was something that initially I did for myself just to capture the moment in my life, but these photos are beautiful and I’m happy to share them. And I like how raw they are. It’s my body: I’m not trying to impress anybody or be something that I’m not. But in general, I don’t really care that much about what people think. It doesn’t rule my world. I did this because I wanted to and it made me happy."
