HIGH COMMISSIONER ARRIVES GLASGOW, SCOTLAND FOR TOWN HALL MEETING
The Nigeria High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Dr Dalhatu Sarki Tafida arrived Glasgow, Scotland yesterday for the Town Hall meeting geared towards meeting Nigerians living in Scotland, and giving their businesses the support they need. Delegations from London, Manchester, Brimingham and members of Central Association of Nigerians in the UK (CANUK) led by the Chairman, Chief Bimbo Afolayan, including members of the Press were on hand to receive him. Staff of the Nigeria High Commission UK, including the SA to the High Commissioner, Prince Tajudeen Adeniyi and the Minister for Welfare and Education, Mr Shina Alege were also present, as well as the staff of Nigeria Television Authority, NTA. The High Commissioner also visited the Central Mosque in Glasgow.
